SUCCESSFUL FOOLS

That a person can achieve success and still be a fool could be a paradox. But unfortunately, it’s quite potential — and even a lot of sadly, a standard truth.
I’m thinking of a bound man who “made smart” financially. After all, he was wealthy. He had worked onerous through the years and had made his fortune as a farmer. Everyone thought-about him a highly successful man and he prided himself on his own achievements.
In the future as he was looking over his property and his belongings, he realized that he had a lot of possessions than he had storage room. So he came up with a arrange for enlargement and proposed to drag down his barns and build bigger ones where he could place all his fruits and his goods.
He smiled with evident satisfaction as he decided that he would currently retire. “Soul,” he told himself, “thou hast abundant goods laid up for several years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.”
But God said unto him, “Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be which thou hast provided?”
Fool? Yes, indeed! A fool as a result of he was therefore shortsighted.
